This Dacia commercial shoot presented an interesting challenge because much of the dialogue took place inside the car. Recording clean sound in a confined vehicle environment requires careful mic placement, close attention to reflections, and a workflow that keeps every line clear and usable for post-production.
I worked on set as production sound mixer, capturing location sound for a scene that depended heavily on dialogue and timing. The setup had to stay discreet and efficient while still delivering reliable audio, especially with multiple takes and the limitations of working inside a car.
In this kind of production, sound on set becomes a key part of the storytelling. The tighter the space, the more important it is to control unwanted noise and maintain consistency between takes. That was the main focus on this shoot: to make sure the dialogue was recorded cleanly and the production team had solid material for the edit.
