This Monster Energy project was a real challenge from a production sound point of view. The shoot took place in the desert, where high temperatures and constant dust made recording conditions demanding from start to finish.
The setup included athletes on motorcycles and in cars, which meant capturing a wide range of sounds in a fast-moving and unpredictable environment. Recording both in-car and exterior vehicle audio was essential to build a rich and versatile sonic library for the final edit.
My role focused on recording sound on set, making sure the recorded material stayed clean, useful, and consistent despite the difficult location. In a project like this, sound has to support both the action and the atmosphere, and that means staying alert to every pass, every engine tone, and every environmental detail.
