Wildtrack Audio provided production sound in Barcelona for this Monster Energy commercial, delivering reliable location sound recording under some of the most demanding filming conditions. Working as the production sound mixer, my role was to capture clean dialogue, vehicle recordings and detailed ambience while ensuring consistent audio quality throughout the production.
Filmed in the Spanish desert, the project presented several technical challenges. High temperatures, fine dust and fast-moving action required careful planning and a robust sound workflow to guarantee dependable recordings in every situation.
The production featured athletes riding motorcycles and driving high-performance vehicles across challenging terrain. Capturing both onboard and exterior vehicle sound was a key part of the project, creating a versatile collection of recordings that supported both the edit and the final sound design.
Throughout the shoot I worked closely with the camera and production teams to adapt quickly to changing conditions while maintaining clean recordings. From radio microphones and boom operation to vehicle-mounted recording setups and environmental ambience, every element was recorded with the aim of delivering high-quality production sound for post-production.
